Rafael Furcal, Nomar Garciaparra, Andruw Jones to Join 51s!

LAS VEGAS: Los Angeles Dodgers infielders Rafael Furcal, Nomar Garciaparra and outfielder Andruw Jones are scheduled to join the Las Vegas 51s for Major League rehabilitation assignments on Monday, June 30 at Cashman Field. The 51s will host the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the L.A. Angels of Anaheim, in a four-game homestand from Monday-Thursday, June 30 - July 3, with all games at 7:05 p.m.

The three Major League All-Stars, according to the Dodgers Public Relations Department and dodgers.com, will join Las Vegas for the homestand.

Furcal was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained lower back on May 13. This season, he has appeared in 32 games for the Dodgers and is batting .366 (49-for-134) with 12 doubles, 5 home runs, 16 RBI and 8 stolen bases.

Garciaparra was placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 26 with a strained left calf. He was then transferred from the 15-day to the 60-day disabled list on May 25. This season, he has appeared in 9 games for the Dodgers and is batting .226 (7-for-31) with one home run and 5 RBI.

Jones, a 10-time consecutive Gold Glove Awards Winner (1998-2007) in center field, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on May 25 with torn cartilage in the right knee. The knee surgery was performed on May 27. This season, he has appeared in 43 games for the Dodgers and is batting .165 (22-for-133) with 6 doubles, 2 home runs and 7 RBI.
