De La Cruz Rejoins Herd

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that INF Chris De La Cruz has been promoted to the team from the Single-A Kinston Indians.This will be De La Cruz's second stint with the team. He played nine games with Buffalo, June 1-20, and hit .211 (4-19) with three RBI and four runs scored. On Friday, he was transferred from Buffalo to Kinston as INF Michael Aubrey was activated off the disabled list. He hit in all three games with the K-Tribe (3-11, .273, 4RBI, BB) before his return today to the Bisons. -herd-
