International League
John Parrish, Syracuse
2-0, 2.08 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 13.0 IP, 9 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 14 SO
It was just another ho-hum week for Parrish in the International League: two starts, two wins. The Chiefs left-hander shut out Scranton/Wilkes-Barre over eight innings, allowing just three hits while striking out seven Yankees. He followed it up with five solid innings Sunday in Toledo, limiting the powerful Mud Hens to three runs on six hits. Parrish improved to a league-leading 10-0 on the season with a 2.83 ERA.

Pacific Coast League
Eulogio De La Cruz, Albuquerque
2-0, 0.75 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 12.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 14 SO
De La Cruz did cruise in two home starts last week in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. He shut out Round Rock for six innings on a single hit before allowing Omaha just one run on five hits over six innings. He struck out nine Royals, giving him 60 on the season. De La Cruz has been most comfortable in Albuquerque, where he's 5-1 with a 3.28 ERA.

Eastern League
Daniel Christensen, Erie
1-0, 1.29 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 14.0 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 12 SO
Christensen only got one win last week but he shined in both his home starts for Erie. The southpaw earned the victory Sunday against New Hampshire, limiting the Fisher Cats to one run on six hits. He got a hard-luck no-decision in his previous start against Portland, when he held the Sea Dogs to a lone run on three hits over eight innings while striking out eight.

Southern League
Jesus Castillo, Jacksonville
2-0, 2.13 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 12.2 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 8 SO
Castillo was lights-out for the Suns last week, allowing only eight hits over 12 2/3 innings in two starts. He didn't allow an earned run to Carolina in Zebulon through 6 2/3 innings, striking out four Mudcats while yielding just one hit. He backed that up Sunday against Huntsville, giving up three runs on seven hits in six innings. For the season, the right-hander is 5-3 with a 3.30 ERA in 14 starts.

Texas League
Anthony Ortega, Arkansas
1-1, 1.25 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 15.2 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 13 SO
Ortega was on the short end of a pitchers' duel at Springfield, getting the loss despite allowing just three runs -- two earned -- in 6 2/3 innings. He made sure he didn't get another loss Sunday against Tulsa, going the distance for the complete-game shutout. Ortega allowed only three hits and two walks while punching out 10 Drillers. It was just the sixth complete-game shutout in the Texas League this season, and Ortega's seven wins are tied for the league lead.

California League
Brett Anderson, Stockton
2-0, 0.64 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 14.0 IP, 7 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 16 SO
Anderson has rebounded from a rough finish to May by winning his first three starts in June. He put out the Blaze over seven innings, giving up four hits while striking out nine Bakersfield hitters. He was almost as good Sunday against Inland Empire, holding the 66ers to one run on three hits with seven strikeouts in seven innings. The left-hander is now 8-4 on the year with a 4.10 ERA for the Ports.

Carolina League
John Ely, Winston-Salem
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 7.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 8 SO
Ely only had one start last week for the Warthogs, but he made it count. The righty one-hit Wilmington over seven innings, striking out eight without walking a batter. Ely's record belies the way he's pitched this season, as he's a hard-luck 3-6 with a 3.66 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 76 innings.

Florida State League
Zach Braddock, Brevard County
1-0, 1.80 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 5.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 10 SO
Braddock had one of his best efforts of the season Tuesday at Lakeland, notching his first road win by going five innings and limiting the Flying Tigers to one run on two hits with 10 strikeouts. The southpaw now has 26 punchouts in his last three games, giving him 43 on the season in just 35 innings for the Manatees.

Midwest League
Neftali Feliz, Clinton
0-0, 1.74 ERA, 2 G, 2 GS, 10.1 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 BB, 20 SO
Feliz didn't get a win last week, but it wasn't for lack of effort. The right-hander went five innings Monday against Kane County, giving up a run on four hits while striking out nine. He followed with an even better performance against Wisconsin Saturday, limiting the Timber Rattlers to a run on one hit while punching out 11. Feliz is a big reason why the LumberKings are in first place, as he's 5-2 on the year with a 2.24 ERA.

South Atlantic League
Madison Bumgarner, Augusta
1-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 G, 1 GS, 1 CG, 1 SHO, 7.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 10 SO
Bumgarner continued his fantastic first half, shutting out first-place Asheville over seven innings Wednesday night. The South Atlantic League All-Star held the Tourists to just four hits and struck out 10. The left-hander continued his road dominance, improving to 4-0 with a 1.20 ERA in eight starts away from Augusta. He's not too bad at home either -- he's 6-2 with a 1.96 ERA overall for the GreenJackets.
