Erik Lis blasted two homers and plated five runs to power Fort Myers to an 8-6 win at Tampa on Tuesday. Lis cranked a three-run shot in the fifth inning and added his 15th homer, a two-run blast, in the seventh. It was the second time in eight days, he has accounted for two homers and five RBIs, a feat he accomplished Aug. 6 at Daytona. Over the past eight games, he has five home runs and 15 RBIs, which helped earn him Florida State League Offensive Player of the Week honors. The 23-year-old designated hitter now has three career multi-homer efforts and five games with at least five RBIs, including six RBIs at Wisconsin on Aug. 5, 2006 with Class A Beloit. Lis also clubbed a solo homer off of Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens in his first Minor League start of the season May 19. Steven Tolleson went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI for the Miracle (29-23), who won their ninth straight. Fort Myers reliever David Shinskie (7-4) allowed two runs on three hits over 2 1/3 frames. Danny Powers tossed a scoreless eighth, and Robert Delaney pitched around a hit in the ninth for his fifth save. Christopher Malec drove in three runs and Kevin Russo went 3-for-3 with three runs scored. Andres Perez hit his second homer for Tampa (33-19) in the second.
