National Retail Licensee Directory (pdf)

The Minor League Baseball licensing program began in 1991 when Minor League Baseball entered into an agency representation agreement with Major League Baseball Properties. Through this agreement, Major League Baseball Properties authorizes manufacturers to produce officially licensed merchandise.

Prior to the establishment of the Minor League Baseball licensing program, few clubs had mail order and retail operations which reached beyond their in-stadium facilities during the playing season. Today, merchandise featuring the innovative and exciting logos of Minor League Baseball can be found at regional and national retailers across the country and clubs have extended sales of their merchandise year-round. Minor League Baseball merchandise sales continue to grow – increasing in each of the last six years. This growth continues despite an extremely competitive sports merchandising environment.

The success of Minor League Baseball merchandise begins at our ballparks…where 41.7 million fans attended a game in 2006. Minor League Baseball attendance surpassed that of the NBA, NHL and NFL.

Innovating and exciting team logos help drive retail sales beyond the ballparks. The broad appeal of these logos, coupled with unique promotional opportunities, can help retailers achieve their sales and marketing goals.
