1) How do I tryout for a Minor League Baseball team?
Tryouts are not held by our Minor League Baseball teams. Our teams are assigned players by their Major League Baseball affiliate. Here is a link to tryout camps being held around the country this year.

2) Where will a player be assigned for this season?
Players are employed by Major League Baseball and are then assigned to a Minor League Baseball club. In addition, most Minor League Baseball teams will have their rosters posted on their website. Individual team websites can be accessed via their team page on our site.
3) How can I find out the whereabouts of a former player?
Former players are under no obligation to provide Minor League Baseball with their current contact information. There are several member-based organizations that maintain contact information of former Minor and Major League Baseball players, including the
Minor League Baseball Alumni Association, the Association of Professional Baseball Players of America (714-935-9993), and the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (719-477-1870). The Minor League Baseball Alumni Association does not distribute contact information of former players. The other organizations may, or may not, have similar privacy policies.
4) What do Minor League players earn?
Minor League Baseball player contracts are handled by the Major League Baseball office. Here are the salary ranges:
First contract season: $1,100/month maximum. After that, open to negotiation
Alien Salary Rates: Different for aliens on visas--mandated by INS (Immigration).
Meal Money: $20 per day at all levels, while on the road
5) How much is a Minor League Baseball team worth?
Minor League Baseball clubs are worth anywhere from $3-$25 million based on several variables.
6. Do pitchers hit in the Minor Leagues?
Pitchers only bat in Class AA and Triple-A. Here are the rules for these leagues...
International—Pitchers only hit when both clubs are NL affiliates
Pacific Coast-- Pitchers only hit when both clubs are NL affiliates and both clubs agree to have their pitchers hit
Eastern-- Pitchers only hit when both clubs are NL affiliates
Southern-- Pitchers only hit when both clubs are NL affiliates
Texas-- Pitchers only hit when both clubs are NL affiliates
7) Can I buy tickets online for a Minor League Baseball game?
Some clubs do sell tickets on their website. Club websites can be accessed via their team page on our site.
