The 109th annual Baseball Winter Meetings are headed again to The Sunshine State! For the second time in five years, the annual gathering of baseball executives will take place at the fabulous
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort near Orlando, Fla., from December 6 - 9.
While there will be ample time to enjoy the fun and excitement of Orlando, the meetings offer four days to plan for the 2011 season and honor the achievements of the past year. Upwards of 3,000 people are expected to attend, including representatives from all 30 Major League Baseball organizations, Minor League Baseball teams, various league offices and companies in fields associated with baseball. There will also be guests from baseball-playing countries around the world.
The annual meetings will also include the Bob Freitas Business Seminar, Baseball Trade Show, Awards Luncheon, Banquet and the main social event of the season, the Gala. The Baseball Trade Show is expected to attract about 300 exhibitors to include any baseball item you could imagine.
Orlando is the epicenter of fun and excitement, as more than 100 attractions keep visitors coming back for more. Take the mix of legendary theme parks, spectacular museums, world-class entertainment and blockbuster rides and attractions, and it would take about 67 days to visit all of the entertaining offerings in Orlando.
Registration will be available in early September. Make sure to reserve your spot in the sun!
