Anthony Gose was involved in a trade Thursday afternoon that will send speedy outfielder to the Houston Astros along with J.A. Happ and Lakewood's Jonathan Villar for veteran pitcher Roy Oswalt. Playing in place of the injured Shane Victorino, Domonic Brown delivered a pair of hits and RBI in his major league debut to help Roy Halladay and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-1 on Wednesday night. Brown was a member of the Clearwater Threshers in 2009, playing in 66 games with a .303 batting average.

The Charlotte Stone Crabs completed the four-game sweep over the Clearwater Threshers after taking both games of Sunday's double header at Bright House Field. The Threshers lost by scores of 3-2 and 5-4, and dropped all eight games in the season series to the Stone Crabs. Full recap
