The R-Phils announced the winners of their "End of the Season" awards on Wednesday. Michael Spidale received the FirstEnergy Reading Phillies MVP Award. Tagg Bozied, Freddy Galvis, Chance Chapman, Matt Rizzotti, Kevin Nelson, and Vance Worley also received awards.

The R-Phils released the 2011 schedule with road games. Two weeks ago, the R-Phils announced plans for the 2011 season, and gave fans a first glimpse into the 2011 home schedule, as well as a chance to renew season tickets and mini-plans without any pricing increase.

R-Phils RHP Mike Cisco, who tossed a complete-game one-hit shutout on August 26 in Reading, was named as the Eastern League's Pitcher of the Week for the week ending August 29, as announced by the Eastern League on Monday.

R-Phils RHP Austin Hyatt was named as the Florida State League Pitcher of the Year on Tuesday. Hyatt went 11-5 with a 3.04 ERA and struck out 156 hitters in 124.1 innings for the Threshers this season. He is currently 1-0 with a 4.91 ERA for the R-Phils this season.
