The seemingly apocalyptic storm that hit the Grand Strand area at about five this evening dropped enough water and did enough damage to the BB&T Coastal Field turf that the Pelicans' opener with the first-place Winston-Salem Dash was postponed until Friday night.
Head on out to the ballpark this weekend to watch the Pelicans and Dash square off!
After a seven-game road trip through Frederick and Salem, the Birds return back to the Grand Strand for a quick three-game homestand against the first-place Winston-Salem Dash starting on Thursday, July 29th.
