Alfredo Silverio improved his batting average to .500 over his last six games with a 4-for-5 effort as Inland Empire pounded out 19 hits on their way to a 10-5 victory over the San Jose Giants. It was the most hits allowed this year by San Jose (27-38, 72-63), and halted Inland Empire's (24-41, 50-84) losing streak at four.
