Fans are in for a treat in 2010 as the Blue Rocks front office staff continues to pull out all the stops with another full arsenal of fun and a little off-the-wall promotional nights.

"We really want our fans to realize that they are enjoying a show, not just a great minor league baseball game," says Mark VanderHaar, Director of Marketing for the Blue Rocks. "We want to cram so much entertainment into our games, that even people who dislike baseball will still have a great time with their friends."

One such theme night from the 2009 season that the front office was particularly fond of was Cowboy Monkey Rodeo Night. The Blue Rocks booked an act called Team Ghost Riders out of Mississippi who brought professionally trained monkeys dressed as cowboys to ride dog around Judy Johnson Field at Frawley Stadium.
